Introduction:
Four pre & post race mountain biking trips will be available, providing you with a complete Nepal biking experience. Tours are 5 days in length and designed to give you a great introduction to the biking trails in and around Kathmandu Valley & to the Tibet border and have you back to Kathmandu in ample time to relax and prepare for your race(s) whilst providing a good daily warm-up & workout. All tours offer a different course & will take you out of the city with overnight accommodation provided. Tours should be pre-booked using the attached booking form.

Tour 1: Kathmandu Valley – Northern Rim Itinerary

Sunday 4th Nov to Thursday 8th Nov.

Duration 5days Tour Fee: $245

Day01 Depart Kathmandu 0900

Ride over the race-course in detail with your guide who will point out all aspects of the full course

Continue onto Kakani on the northern rim of the valley providing excellent Himalayan views.

Overnight accommodation.

Day02 Shivapuri Forest ride over a challenging mixed terrain.

(Single Supp is tented facility otherwise shared rooms)

Day03 Shivapuri Heights returning into Shivapuri and traversing the northern valley rim and onto hill-station of Nagarkot again with glorious Himalayan views as far as Everest and beyond Good lodge facilities

Tour 2 : Himalayan Rim Itinerary

Sunday 11th Nov to Thursday 15th Nov.

Duration 5days – Tour Fee $245

Day01 Depart Kathmandu 0900

Ride over the race-course in detail with your guide who will point out all aspects of the full course

Ride to include Tokha and Raniban Forest then continue onto Kakani on the northern rim of the valley providing excellent Himalayan views.

Overnight Kakani accommodation.

Day02 Shivapuri Forest ride over a challenging mixed terrain staying high above the valley and overnight in Mulkarka Basic lodge facilities (B/D) Approx 40kms.
Day03 Mulkarka inside Shivapuri onto Chisopani via trekking & jeep trails north of the valley. Again a showcase of Himalayan views await you Lodge facilities

Tour 3 : Kathmandu Southern Valley Itinerary

Sunday 18th Nov to Thursday 22nd Nov.

Duration 5days – Tour Fee $245

Day01 Depart Kathmandu 0900

Ride over the racecourse in detail with your guide who will point out all aspects of the full course.

We finish the day riding the various village trails in the northern extreme of the valley before relaxing into our private lodge facilities.

Day02 Shivapuri Heights with a ride into the great Stupa of Bodananth and onto the cultural centers of Changu Narayan and the City Kingdom of Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur Guest House

Day03 Bhaktapur to Nagarkot & then a huge downhill off-road trail into Banepa and Dhulikel on the southeastern rim of the Valley. Again a showcase of Himalayan views await you Good Lodge facilities

Day05 Dhulikel , returning to KTM via the southern rim of the valley and a 2000-m pass then downhill over a range of excellent trails meandering towards to city until making a final crossing through the old town centre to your hotel. Your KTM Hotel

Day01 Depart Kathmandu 0900

Off road trails to the north of Kathmandu to Sanku and Nagarkot

Day02 Nagarkot, exploring the northern trails outside the valley until we hit the hwy near Panchkhal. On a sealed road we travel onto Borderlands River Resort with vehicle support. Borderlands

Day03 Borderlands uphill to the Tibet Border and Friendship Bridge. Take time to explore the adjoining areas and visit a hilltop monastery. Good Lodge facilities. Tatopani
